The Ofsted report paints a vibrant picture of what it's like to attend The Meadows Primary School. The school is described as "exceptional where pupils flourish both in their learning and socially”.  Ofsted have also commented “They work hard, they are keen to learn, and they support each other well”. This Ofsted report follows on from last year’s GOOD to today’s OUTSTANDING. The Meadows Primary School have done a fantastic job improving the school’s overall effectiveness.


The Meadows Primary Schools motto is ‘learning by caring and sharing’ Ofsted have commented that this is “lived and breathed”. This school is very much at the heart of the community of Madeley located in Staffordshire, with parents commenting things such as “ My child has absolutely flourished at the Meadows with a team of teachers who obviously share a bond more akin to a family than simply colleagues”.


The school's curriculum and teaching methods are highly praised in the report. The curriculum is shown as ambitious and designed so the students can maintain the knowledge they learn. The teachers at the Meadows are supportive and work tirelessly to ensure there are no gaps in the curriculum which enables the children to “flourish”.


The report also commented on the exceptional care provided to pupils with SEND, “Developing a rich body of knowledge that enables them to make connections between different subjects and topics”.
